Why I Wrote This Book

Before writing The Guerrilla Diet, I spent years struggling with weight, health problems, and eventually cancer.

Even as a nutritionist with multiple university degrees in the field of nutrition and medicine, I found myself confused by the conflicting advice surrounding food, dieting, and long-term health. Like many people, I tried different approaches, yet none seemed to address the deeper causes of disease and weight gain.

This experience led me to step away from my career for two years and dedicate myself fully to understanding the true foundations of human nutrition. I immersed myself in research across multiple scientific disciplines, including evolutionary biology, anthropology, medicine, and nutritional science.

What began as a personal search for answers gradually became a much deeper exploration into how the human body evolved and how modern lifestyles often conflict with that biology.

The insights I discovered eventually formed the basis of my doctoral research on the ideal diet and lifestyle for humans — and became the foundation for The Guerrilla Diet & Lifestyle Program.

When I applied these principles in my own life, my health transformed completely.

The Guerrilla Diet was born from that research and from my desire to help others avoid the years of confusion, frustration, and suffering that I experienced — and to show that restoring health is possible when we align our lifestyle with the biology we evolved for.
